Am I required to stay at the venue?
Staying on site is not required, though we highly recommend it if you plan to attend most events. The venue offers beautiful accommodations, exceptional amenities, and plenty to enjoy throughout the weekend, making it feel like a relaxing vacation experience in addition to the wedding celebration. The weekend follows a set itinerary, and on site accommodations make timing and travel especially convenient.
Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Both the Greek Orthodox and Sikh wedding ceremonies will take place indoors. The haldi (turmeric) and mehendi (henna) events are planned to take place on the venue’s outdoor patio. In the event of inclement weather, they will be moved indoors.
Can I bring a plus one?
We’d love to include everyone, but plus‑ones are only available to guests whose invitations explicitly include one. If your invitation indicated that a guest was welcome and you have not yet RSVP’d for them, please update your RSVP or contact us.
Do you have any food allergies and/or dietary restrictions?
We want everyone to fully enjoy the celebration and meal. Please let us know of any allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP and we will do our best to accommodate them. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options will be available.
Are children welcome?
Yes! We look forward to celebrating with you and your family. If your save‑the‑date or invitation included your children, they are warmly welcome to join all wedding weekend events.
Keep in mind, after 10:30PM the music may be explicit.
Will transportation be provided?
Yes, transportation accommodation will be arranged. Be sure to let us know 3 weeks in advance so that we can arrange accordingly.
Will the ceremony be unplugged?
While we encourage you to keep your phone on silent, taking photos and videos is encouraged. Please be sure to tag them using #happilykhouryafter so that we can join in on the fun!
I have never attended a Sikh wedding. What should I expect?
For the Sikh wedding, guests are kindly requested to cover their heads for the duration of their visit to the Gurdwara. Shoes must be removed before entering; secure shoe storage is provided on site, and wearing socks is acceptable. The prayer hall features a padded floor covered with clean white sheets, where attendees traditionally sit cross‑legged. Chairs will be available for elders and guests who require them.
The dining hall follows a similar layout to the prayer hall, with tables and chairs available for elderly or mobility‑limited guests. Please note that alcohol, smoking, and non-vegetarian food are strictly prohibited at the Gurdwara out of respect for the religious space and traditions.

Do I need to attend every event?
While we'd love to celebrate with you throughout the weekend, attendance at every event is not required. Please join us for whichever celebrations you're able to attend.
When should I arrive for each event?
We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes early for each ceremony to allow time for seating and transportation.
Will alcohol be served?
Yes, alcoholic beverages will be served at select wedding events throughout the weekend, along with a variety of non-alcoholic options.
Please note that alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited at the Gurdwara (Sikh temple) out of respect for the religious space and traditions.
